Rising Star Dance Company – Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

Effective Date: February 17, 2025

 

This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms for tuition, fees, and services at Rising Star Dance Company. By enrolling in our program, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

 

1. Tuition Refunds & Cancellations

 

• Tuition is non-refundable once charged.

• We do not offer credits, refunds, or prorated tuition for missed classes.

• Auto-Pay Policy: Tuition is charged on the 27th of each monthfor the following month.

• If a payment declines, we will attempt to process the card again after 24 hours. If it declines a second time, a $10 late fee will be added.

 

30-Day Notice Requirement

 

• To cancel enrollment, you must provide written notice via email at least 30 days in advance.

• Tuition remains due during this 30-day period.

 

2. Recital & Costume Fees

 

• All recital fees and costume payments are non-refundable,even if a student withdraws before the event.

• Once a costume order is placed, no refunds or exchanges are allowed.

• Recital fees cover venue costs, production fees, and other event expenses and cannot be refunded for any reason.

 

3. Missed Classes & Makeup Policy

 

• Tuition covers a set number of classes per month and is not adjusted for absences.

• If Rising Star Dance Company cancels a class, a makeup class may be scheduled at our discretion.

• We do not guarantee makeups for missed student absences.

 

4. Additional Fees & Non-Refundable Charges

 

• Registration Fees – The $30 registration fee per student ($40 for 2+ students) is non-refundable.

• Re-Registration Fee – If a student withdraws and later re-enrolls, a $30 re-registration fee may apply.

• Private Lessons, Workshops, & Special Events – All payments for these services are final and non-refundable.

 

5. Cancellations Due to Inclement Weather or Emergencies

 

• If the studio must close due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, families will be notified via email and text.

• Make-up classes may be scheduled at our discretion but are not guaranteed.

• Refunds are not provided for weather-related closures.

 

6. Merchandise & Studio Shop Refunds (Nimbly Orders)

 

• All merchandise purchased through our Nimbly Studio Shop is subject to Nimbly’s refund and return policy.

• Rising Star Dance Company does not process refunds, returns, or exchanges for Nimbly shop purchases.
